Designed specifically for use during chemical disinfection of soft contact lenses the Bausch & Lomb ReNu leak proof lens case is compact, durable, and easy to use. To prevent lens mix-ups, left and right caps are clearly marked. The caps form a leak-proof seal, and they open and close easily. Lens cases can be a significant source of microbial contamination. To help prevent eye infections, lens cases should be cleaned, rinsed, and air dried every day and replaced at least every three months. Never use tap water to clean your lens case.

Even though they are advertised for soft lenses, they are my preferred case for RGP lenses. I don’t know why I can’t find them in stores anymore. They seem to have disappeared over the summer. This brand of case is flat on the bottom rather than ridged. I find that the ridged cases usually sold for RGP use, including Bausch and Lomb cases intended for RGP lenses, tend to scratch lenses easily. The ReNu brand does not have this problem. I have one lens that has gone over 4 years now without needing to be replaced due to scratches.
