You may have heard of this before, it is a sub culture mostly of Korean or asian girls. Ulzzang is a Korean word that means ”best face”, and the term is used to describe people who have become popular for their appearances. The ulzzang craze started in South Korea. Many ulzzang wannabes post their pictures on websites, where contests are often held to pick the prettiest faces. Incredible what makeup and some contacts (and lighting effects in photoshop OR lighting effects in cell phones as yoshi has mentioned) can do.
Is there a way to apply makeup for ulzzang style eyes without false lashes and those contacts? The false eyelashes and contacts are what sets them apart from everyone else. Without those, you would look like an everyday person. Make ur eyes look bigger with either (or both) special contact lenses, dark eyeliner around the rims of ur eyes (almost on the bottom of ur bottom eyelids).

you are talking about those contact lenses that makes your eyes look like 4 time bigger right? the ones that Asian girls commonly wear. (I know what Ulzzang means cause I have a Korean friend and she told me about it) They are called ‘circle lenses’.
They felt kinda funny at first; my normal contacts are 14.2 in diameter, but the Circles are 14.0. I suppose I’m just used to larger contacts. After about half an hour, I got used to them– they felt the same as my regular contacts. Some girls report that their circle lens obstruct their view.
